emort: good news/bad news

ok so I weighed myself today and I didn't loose anything, but I didn't gain either. I think the only reason I didnt loose was because I only went to the gym once last week (because brian was sick one day, and the cat was sick the next day) and only worked out on my own 2 days. I usually go to the gym at least 3 times a week and work out on my own at least 2 days. I have been sticking to the point system of weight watchers so that is good. All in all I am doing ok. Hopefully this week I will get back on track with the gym and loose more weight.

emort: tonight's work out

So tonight I went shopping and didnt want to make a trip down to the gym. I came over to my in laws and used their treadmill for 30 minutes then I did 100 crunches (which I am going to start doing every night) and then 50 push ups (on my knees) so all in all I got a good strong workout.

Id have to say mine is my increased energy. I am noticing im more energetic in the mornings and am READY to go. Also it does help that I have been noticing changes in my body. I used to be a boderline size.... now Im in the smaller size.. almost down to my goal size which is pretty awesome! Ive lost about 6lbs but the toning that is going on makes the inches drop! Its pretty cool. I guess it helps that I have a pretty strict gym routine.. I go sunday through thursday and havent missed a day yet since we started, Im pretty proud of myself! If I get to my goal size and not necessarily weight ill be fine with that cuz I know im gettin buff! LOL anyway enough rambling.... time for bed!

emort: what is your motivation?

I had a lot of motivation to keep up the good work this morning. I have been working out about 4 times a week and have been on weight watchers. Even though the dropping pounds are motivation enough to keep going there was something else that happened that made me happier. I have this blue dress shirt that I used to wear to work but it shrunk a little in the dryer and last time I tried to put it on it bulged out in the front so I ended up putting something else on. So this morning I was getting dressed for work and Brian said “why don’t you ever wear that shirt anymore. I really like it” and I told him that it was too small. He told me to try it on anyway and see if it fit better. IT IS ACTUALLY A LITTLE BIG! Can you believe that? No bulge nothing. It just is a little big in the stomach area. I was so very pleasantly surprised. So not only am I loosing weight but loosing inches too. That gives me motivation to keep going. I am not going to be able to go to the gym tonight cause I have to take Minnie to the vet but I am going to do my workout video cause I don’t want to miss out on two days in a row. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hey girls... Well I have been doing pretty well. I have been going to the gym 5 days a week for random group exercises. Monday I went to the spinning class and that kicked my derriere but I liked it.... TOnight is Powerflex, Wednesday i guess it depends if I want to go to spin class again and then Thursday is Powerflex. Sunday I just use some of the machines and lift weights. Ive lost a total of 5lbs but the coolest part is that I have more energy and I have been noticing my tummy lookin better believe it or not! I think I have just been doing a good job of balancing cardio with weights....

As far as eating goes I am conscious most of the time. This weekend I wasnt very good but good enough! LOL I have been neglecting my journal but Im still keeping track of my weight and measurements each Sunday evening. One of my favorite meals Ive been having is rice, steamed veggies and chicken with teriyaki sauce.. I could eat it like everyday! hahahaha =) but thats my progress and I thought id fill ya in.

Pretty much I am accomplishing eveyrthing I wanted to... Get into a routine of exercise and make it a life change rather than something because of the challenge, start to be more conscious of what Im eating and ultimately lose some weight and Im doing all of those things! Its hard to balance everything but I just make it a HAVE To instead of a SHOULD I? haha yah know? ok wel I gotta go bye for now!

I feel like I am falling away from the goals I wanted. I have been so dang tired lately my exercize has become less and less...and I have incorporated some of the wrong foods into my diet.
I think I need a swift kick in the butt to get back on track....my goal is to lose this tummy, lose that butt and tone.
*smacks hand hard....bad Robin bad Robin!!!*

I am gonna pull out my Denise Austin Work out video tonight and hopefully moving around the house cleaning will count.

time for corn flakes!

So I am in so much pain right now. Not only does my ass and thighs hurt but I have cramps as well cause I am on my period. I don't think I am going to be taking that Spinning class unti I can loose some more weight. The instructor was so nice and he even came over and asked if I was ok at one point. He was great and very modivating I just don't think that class is designed for very overweight people. osuchic81 and bigred2k held up very well but I could hardly get off the seat for more than 30 seconds at a time. So I think for now I am going to stick with Powerflex and doing my own workout on Monday's and Wednesdays. Just some advice if you take a Spinning class be prepared to not be able to sit down the next day.

emort: weigh in week 2

So I weighed in yesterday and measured. I lost another 4 pounds and another 1/2 inch off my waist! So that is a total of 8 pounds in two weeks and about an inch and a half off my waist. I am actually WAY excited!!!! I didn't gain any weight back from our trip to Izzy's probably because I had a huge salad and one piece of pizza so I was pretty good.

I signed up osuchic81, bigred2k and I for the spinning class today so that should be interesting. I will let you all know how it goes.

How is everyone else doing?

Well I know I haven't been a very good updater lately...and I have been trying to be a good girl....if anything I haven't really been hungry much....I have been trying to stick to my work out routine but this week has just been one sucky week as far as staying on track...ok girls you can kick my butt, but I want next week to go better! I need to get to the gym this weekend...so emasmomyie if you are still interested maybe we can meet up saturday night??? let me know what ya think and maybe chris and Jason could hang out at the house...I know chris will be working on the bathroom.
Well I applaud the rest of you for doing awesome...way to go!
